This website is being developed to give Campervan, Touring Caravan and Motorhome owners a website to see Campsites and Caravan Parks through photos & videos by other owners.
Most camping and caravan websites do not have video of the parks and sites they list. It is understandable as is means each site must be visited to take a video of the site and it facilities. This is a fairly mamoth task that would take some time. Our objective is to catalogue most campsites and caravan parks with video or photos provided by our readers over the coming years.
Do you have any video or photos of parks you have visited?
We would like owners of campervans, caravans and motorhomes who have video footage or photos of the parks they have visited to sent us copies. Those photos and video clips would be edited and embedded into this website so that we can build a large bank of videos and photos of sites around the UK for campers and caravaners to be able to view before booking or visiting a site or park.
We would also make these videos and photos available to campsite and caravan park owners, either through linking to our site to see the videos or photos or by supplying them on request. We would also like your comments on campsites and parks you have visited.
Do You Have a Digital Camera or Camcorder?
We believe there are thousands of camper and caravaners that have digital cameras and/or camcorders who have a number of their visited sites on video or as digital photos already and would be happy to send us copies of those. Also we believe that many more would be happy to send video clips or photos of sites once they have visited them.
We hope to offer some sort of remunition, possibly vouchers, in due course. We also want to build a library of filmed parks on video and hope to turn them into DVD’s. We hope to extend this service to cover Europe in time.
Become a regular contributor of digial photos or video clips.
See your photos and/or video clips on this website. We will credit you with your work. You may find you would like to contribute on a regular basis. Photos and videos taken by visitors to the sites are far more revealing than those taken to promote a site or park. We would love to have regular contributors who we could rely on to supply us with lots of photos and video clips.
Photos can be attached to an email and sent to us at info@campervansmotorhomes.co.uk. We would advise your short video clips, that are either on DV tapes, Mini Disc or on SD cards are added to an email as attachments or copied to DVD, then sent to us by post, we will not be able to return them once we have copied the video. An alternative is to upload your video to YouTube where we can download it, edit it and add to this website.
